Istria is one of those rare places with an exceptional climate, and Punta Cissana is equally out of the ordinary for us. Indeed, this is an extraordinary olive oil!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Punta Cissana comes exclusively from old Istrian indigenous varieties, from plantations in Barbariga which are between 150 and 200 years old. He also wrote about Cissa, an ancient town between Barbariga and Rovinj that disappeared in a tectonic disturbance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The name Punta Cissana is all that remains of the town, and this special oil is dedicated to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the guidance of Edi Dru\u017eeti\u0107, a leading expert with more than 40 years of experience working with olives, Punta Cissana won a medal for the 2019 harvest at the New York International Olive Oil Competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If there was a grand cru label for olive oils, Punta Cissana would wear it with pride.
