This balance of several cultivars and various harvest times gives Torčol its pleasantly diverse aromatic profile. Torčol Vodnjanski is characterized by mild to strong fruitiness, with moderately pronounced bitterness and pungency. It leaves a clear impression of chicory and almonds, and, to a lesser extent, of tomatoes, pine nuts and artichokes.
